My postings will be things that I have heard, seen, or read that have inspired introspection and reflection. My goal is to practice living mindfully and in the "now." They may come in the form of a quote or just a random thought to reflect on. Written with hope that something I write or post will not just help me, but others on a similar path. I am hopeful that others will share their thoughts and inspirations with me. - Janice Brodowsky

Letting Go, Posted by Janice Brodowsky
You cannot erase the past; you must let it go.
You cannot change yesterday; you must accept the lessons learned.
You cannot stop time or stand still in a world racing around in circles;
you must dance with the wind and sing with the songs that are playing.
Let whatever mistakes you have made remain in the shadows of times gone by,
and let love be the answer to the mysteries of life.

Contemplative Walk by Janice Brodowsky
Before moving to the Ithaca area, I lived in a rural town outside of Albany, NY. At that time I would take what I consider to be healing and meditative walks. This one at Wolf Creek was a favorite of mine. This photo serves as a reminder to me that healing walks are important to me, and now that I live in an unfamiliar area, I need to find those beautiful places in Ithaca NY. I am told that there are many of these places here. My goal is to find them...and take those healing walks again.
Peace,

Beginning Anew by Janice Brodowsky
“If you’re reading these words, perhaps it’s because something has kicked open the door for you, and you’re ready to embrace change. It isn’t enough to appreciate change from afar, or only in the abstract, or as something that can happen to other people but not to you. We need to create change for ourselves, in a workable way, as part of our everyday lives.” ― Sharon Salzberg, The Power of Meditation: A 28-Day Programme for Real Happiness
