How very true! Thank God for humor, as the alternatives aren't very funny. I believe there is an element to humor that not only helps us cope with pain, but can be healing as well. Think about the last time you laughed, and I mean laughed hard. The after effects of laughter and humor lifts us out of dark places, even if only momentarily.

When all else fails, my silly cat makes me laugh. Although this isn't a picture of her, she knocks things off of tables and counters all the time. The expression on her face after she does this is priceless, as she always looks at what my reaction will be when she does it. How can you not laugh!
My postings will be things that I have heard, seen, or read that have inspired introspection and reflection. My goal is to practice living mindfully and in the "now." They may come in the form of a quote or just a random thought to reflect on. Written with hope that something I write or post will not just help me, but others on a similar path.
